Boat rides on the River Dart leave from opposite the site and sail down the estuary to the harbour town of Dartmouth where you can catch a steam train to Paignton, home of the renowned Paignton Zoo. The seaside resort of Torquay is also within easy reach along with a wide choice of fantastic beaches while nearby Dartmoor National Park is a haven for walkers and cyclists.
